Dorothy began her career as a sales consultant for Clinique, quickly becoming the counter manager for the busy Southland counter. She consistently met budgets and was awarded for her outstanding customer service and fantastic customer loyalty. She also ran my own business on the side doing private make ups for weddings, parties etc. 12 years ago Dorothy moved into the role of Advertising Executive for Dimmeys and Forges. Dorothy’s key purpose was to ensure that the catalogues were completed to schedule. The catalogue schedule was hectic; 12-15 each year. As the executive it was her job to communicate, execute and manage the information from the managing director, buyers and external agencies. Dorothy also modeled regularly for Dimmeys, featuring both in the catalogues and on TV. Dorothy’s current role is now Marketing Assistant at Lincraft which entails a variety of responsibilities including ticketing and various marketing administration tasks. On the side she enjoys working with Azure and has been for the past 7 months. Dorothy has flexibility with her hours at Lincraft which has helped her gain the following jobs: - ‘Extra’ roles for The Slap, Neighbours, Winners and Losers and Offspring - TV commercial work for Metlink and Workcover As a mother of four, Dorothy considers herself a people person. Her passions lie in food, having fun and spending time with family. Being from a Greek background she was bought up speaking both Greek and English. She loves the outdoors and I always say yes to challenge.
