Jaya studied Drama and English at Melbourne University and is an experienced Drama Teacher, who has many years of performance experience. She has produced and directed an Australian play by John Romeril at The Open Stage, Carlton, and has worked as a sound technician for community theatre productions. She has also had vocal training and has a good singing ability. Jaya has also completed a Master of Counselling and enjoys working with others. She is naturally intuitive and can improvise easily in any given situation. Jaya has worked as a Film and Television Extra on many productions including Wentworth, Doctor Blake, Picnic at Hanging Rock and Neighbours. She is reliable, flexible and hardworking and wishes to further her acting abilities and experience.
